Panopto
Instructions for publishing Panopto recordings to Canvas:
Click on the Panopto navigation tab in Canvas.
Locate the recording you wish to share. (Notice that unpublished content has a "not available to viewers" message. These files will not be visible to students)
Hover your mouse over the file to bring up additional options.
Click the publish button.
Instructions for auto-posting your Panopto recordings to Canvas:
Click on the Panopto navigation tab in Canvas
Locate and click on the gear icon to access your Panopto folder settings. See the picture below.
Click on "Settings" and scroll down to the "Availablity" section.
Change the availability settings from "never" to "immediately." See the picture below.
Webcasting:
Webcasting allows students to view a lecture live by logging on to Canvas and clicking a link. By default, all recordings are Webcast enabled; however, auto-publishing MUST be selected for students to access the Webcast link. After auto-publishing your content, direct students to Canvas to find the Webcast link located in the Panopto navigation tab.
